This test covers the cost of testing of one item one time (either finished product OR raw material) for amino acid profiling, known as the PDCAAS (Protein Digestibility Corrected Amino Acid Score). The results of this test are presented as YouBar's analysis and formal calculation in terms of how the numbers convert to percent daily value on packaging.
This is an In-vitro PDCAAS test, which is an animal free (humane) version of the in-vivo (rat) PDCAAS test. The test provides an amino acid profile, amino acid score, and PDCAAS Score to determine the protein quality of a sample. The in-vitro digestibility portion of this test makes it more accurate than a test that pulls exclusively from literature values. With that being said, we cannot advise directly on whether this test is compliant with any specific food regulatory standards. We do not claim that this is compliant with FDA standards. A lawyer would be needed to make that assessment.
