This item is exclusively for YouBar Clients who wish to order their packages from a non-approved 3rd party printer. This cost covers the full package material review by YouBar's QA Team, and the necessary FDA compliance paperwork required in order to introduce this new material into our kitchen. In addition to that, it covers the cost of us running the material through our machinery to ensure that it doesn't jam the machine.
What we require from you to do this:
- Proof that the printer has evidence of regulatory oversight (i.e; state or city licenses), and -- if necessary -- 3rd party certifications.
- "Continuing Letter of Guarantee" from the printer.

Enough physical materials to test on our equipment (see below for film specs specifically).
If this is for bar 'film wrappers' then this is what we also need:
- 500 feet of sample roll stock to perform the test in order to assess temperature settings, seal strength and run rate.

Proof that the film your proposed company ships us meets our Film Core limitations - Inside diameter of 3” and a max outside diameter of 13”.
Upon YouBar’s review of the facility documentation and results of the material test(s), YouBar will follow up to approve the printer, or otherwise request additional documentation and testing materials if needed.
Lead times for film test is subject to equipment availability -- but standard time is 2-3 weeks from the date film is delivered to YouBar. Testing fee is non-refundable regardless of outcome. This fee does not guarantee a positive result.
